Barrens Special (from GH2); Street Level Production is sporadic and has been for 40 years.
The Barrens Special is not made by any recognized manufacturer, but there have been a number of similar weapons collected by Knight Errant SWAT operations over the past month. The weapon is a small- caliber revolver with an attached blade, allowing the user to continue to fight after their ammunition has been expended. The majority of these weapons have appeared in the hands of juvenile offenders and completely destitute squatters.

Forensics has identified a number of consistent tooling marks on the weapon’s parts, leading to the assumption that a street-level manufacturer is producing these weapons in the Seattle area. If the facility is found, retrieval of sales records will be crucial in locating all of the weapons, as they lack the mandatory RFID chips included in all legally produced weapons. The manufacturer is currently wanted for tax evasion, operating without a business license, manufacture of an illegal firearm, and, due to the quality of the weapon, littering.

Standard Upgrades/Accessories: Bayonet (see below), Vintage

Bayonet Data = (Accuracy 5; Reach 0; DV = (STR + 1)P; AP = -1).

ACC = 5; Damage = 6P; AP = N/A; Mode = SS; RC = N/A; Ammo = 5 (cy)
Availability = 2R; Cost = 80¥

Note: Gamemasters can have the Barrens Special explode in the user’s hand if a glitch
or critical glitch is rolled, with a DV = 8P(f) and an AP of +5.

Beretta 92SL (from GH); Production ceased prior to 2011
his classic design was once featured in every war and cop video from the early 21st century. The SL version was the mass-produced model made to stop the hordes of the Second EuroWar. Earlier models were selected as the primary pistol for the US military before the Canadians joined, and other militaries across the globe also grabbed onto these. As a result, this is one of the most common functional antiques in the gutters today. The current Beretta offerings are more reliable and better suited to the world of shadows—this model is better suited for collector and fanboys of old.

Standard Upgrades/Accessories: Vintage

ACC = 5; Damage = 6P; AP = N/A; Mode = SA; RC = N/A; Ammo = 15 (clip)
Availability = 6R; Cost = 400¥

______________________________________________________________________

Beretta 201T (from Core Rules Main Book); Introduced May 2066
This light sidearm is used by many security professionals. It is capable of burst fire. Since the 201T is classified as a light pistol without further limitations, it is quite popular with security agencies in countries where heavy pistols and machine pistols are hard to come by legally. Burst-firing the Beretta 201T requires a Complex Action. The weapon includes a detachable shoulder stock.

Standard Upgrades/Accessories: Detachable Shoulder Stock

ACC = 6; Damage = 6P; AP = N/A; Mode = SA/BF; RC = (1); Ammo = 21 (clip)
Availability = 7R; Cost = 350¥*

Cavalier Arms Dragoon (from GH2); Introduced June 2067
The Dragoon is the first purpose-designed small-caliber automatic pistol intended for larger metahumans. The Dragoon’s ergonomics are designed to match the hands of trolls and orks to a greater degree than traditional firearms. The individual finger cuts are spaced so they match an average trolls’ fingers. The weapon’s action has been finely machined, with each pistol required to pass over a hundred quality checks prior to being authorized for sale.

Colt Agent Special (from Gun Heaven 3); Introduced prior to the turn of the century
The Agent Special has been one of Colt’s bestsellers since its introduction over a century ago, and continuing updates and upgrades keep it more than relevant. The weapon’s large caliber makes it popular with shooters who prefer hitting power over range. The short barrel also reduces the round’s penetrative power, but the ability to use the same ammunition as a heavy pistol means that some organizations are turning to this steady performer to simplify their logistics.

Note: Uses light pistol ranges

Standard Upgrades/Accessories: Vintage

ACC = 5; Damage = 8P; AP = N/A; Mode = SA; RC = N/A; Ammo = 8 (clip)
Availability = 5R; Cost = 250¥

______________________________________________________________________

Colt Asp (from SR4 Arsenal); December 2050
This revolver is advertised as a cheap and effective weapon and is, in fact, a solid performer in all respects. However, due to the comparatively light ammunition it fires and the limited ammo capacity when compared to light pistols, the Colt Asp is rarely used, though it is popular with low-level gangs, societal dropouts, or similar desperate individuals. It cannot mount a standard silencer.

Standard Upgrades/Accessories: Incompatible

ACC = 6; Damage = 6P; AP = +1; Mode = SS; RC = N/A; Ammo = 5 (cy)
Availability = 2R; Cost = 90¥

______________________________________________________________________

Colt Coralsnake (from GH); Introduced January 2071
Colt has started producing a new light revolver to fill the market desire for a pistol larger than the Asp, but not as large as the typical Ruger or Cavalier offering. The Coralsnake has received positive reviews from Lone Star and other security providers. It is largely marketed as a home-defense weapon and has enjoyed reasonable sales over the past two years.

Advertising material widely touts the increased range over other small caliber handguns, but they fail to emphasize the smaller cylinder (and resulting lesser ammunition capacity) compared to its predecessor.

Standard Upgrades/Accessories: Integral Laser Sight

ACC = 6 (7); Damage = 6P; AP = N/A; Mode = SS; RC = N/A; Ammo = 5 (cy)
Availability = 3R; Cost = 490¥

______________________________________________________________________

Fichetti Executive Action (from Run & Gun); Introduced November 2060
“Manage your danger with Executive Action!” is the latest in a long series of taglines for this pistol, which incorporates a burst-fire option as standard. With no other truly compelling features, marketing is what this firearm mostly has going for it, but that appears to be all it needs to keep selling well.

ACC = 6; Damage = 7P; AP = N/A; Mode = SA/BF; RC = N/A; Ammo = 18 (clip)
Availability = 10R; Cost = 300¥*
______________________________________________________________________

Fichetti Security 600 (from Core Rules Main Book); Introduced May 2066
A light sidearm for security forces, this weapon’s highly efficient feeding mechanism allows it a thirty-round magazine. The Fichetti Security 600 comes with a detachable folding stock and laser sight.

______________________________________________________________________

Shiawase Arms Puzzler (From Run & Gun); Introduced January 2056
Made from twenty different MAD-defeating components that appear to be everyday items (such as jewelry and general electronic devices add-ons), this pistol is a choice weapon to sneak into areas illegally. It is difficult but not impossible to figure out that the disparate items are actually part of a firearm. It helps, of course, if you’ve seen one before.

Standard Upgrades/Accessories: Level 3 Ceramic/Plasteel Components which makes it undetectable by MAD systems, Incompatible

Note: Recognizing the components of a Puzzler as belonging to a firearm when it is disassembled requires an Armorer + Logic (Mental) (3) or Perception + Intuition (Mental) (4) test. Assembling or disassembling the Puzzler from its concealable parts or pistol mode requires an Armorer + Logic (Mental) (6, 1 minute) Extended Test. A glitch on the test means you have to start over; a critical glitch breaks one of the pieces, which will need to be repaired before the weapon can be used.

ACC = 4; Damage = 6P; AP = N/A; Mode = SA; RC = N/A; Ammo = 12 (clip)
Availability = 14F; Cost = 2,000¥

Taurus Mark XXXI (from GH); Introduced March 2069
The Mark XXXI has received numerous awards and official endorsements since its debut in March 2069. The Lone Star Officer’s Guild hailed it as “the best weapon for a civilian to own.” Wolverine Security has endorsed it as “the only weapon responsible citizens should have at home.” While these endorsements have been well received by citizen action groups and most security forces, it has not translated into a resounding commercial success. It appears that most weapon purchasers prefer more reliable weapons for home and self-protection.

The Mark XXXI is designed to use tracker ammunition as its primary load. These rounds are intended to identify a target more than to inflict permanent damage and are largely ineffective against body armor. While the weapon is capable of firing a variety of ammunition types, all of Taurus’ operator’s manuals expound on the desirability of using tracking ammunition. Home insurance issuers are known to provide a discount to homeowners that possess this—and only this— firearm, as the policyholder is unlikely to have a wrongful death suit brought against them.

Standard Upgrades/Accessories: Integral Laser Sight

ACC = 6 (7); Damage = 6P; AP = N/A; Mode = SS; RC = 1; Ammo = 5 (m)
Availability = 5R; Cost = 575¥

______________________________________________________________________

Taurus Omni-6 (from Core Rules Main Book); Introduced May 2058
This reliable, rugged revolver is specially designed to handle a wide variety of ammunition. Popular with hobbyists and hand-loaders, the Omni-6 comes with some interchangeable cylinders so it can take either cased or caseless, light pistol or heavy pistol ammo. When firing light pistol rounds, the Omni-6 is semi-automatic (SA) and has a base DV of 6P, and when it fires heavy pistol ammo it has only single shot mode (SS), and a base DV of 8P and –1 AP. The Omni-6 includes an integral laser sight.

Standard Upgrades/Accessories: Interchangeable Cylinders, Integral Laser Sight.

Note: The Taurus Omni-6 uses the Light Pistol range table.

ACC = 5 (6); Damage = 6P or 8P; AP = 0 or -1; Mode = SA/SS; RC = N/A;
Ammo = 6 (cy); Availability = 8R; Cost = 610¥

______________________________________________________________________

Walther PB-120 (from SR4 Arsenal); Introduced December 2049
The PB-120 is a rugged and small light pistol and has come to be the sidearm of choice for most military and paramilitary aircrews. Walther also offers extended 15-round clips for this pistol for “situations when 10 shots just aren’t enough,” even if most customers tend to use more heavy armaments when expecting trouble. The extended clips cost 12¥ each and have the same Availability as the basic weapon.

Standard Upgrades/Accessories: Extended Clip, Incompatible

ACC = 6; Damage = 6P; AP = N/A; Mode = SA; RC = -1; Ammo = 12 or 15 (clip)
Availability = 6R; Cost = 490¥

Walther P99 (from GH) Production ended prior to the turn of the century.
(But rumors occasionally circulate that a Chinese manufacturer has revived the line, but these have never been offered through mainstream suppliers).

The Walther P99 enjoyed a twenty-year initial production run and commercial success across the globe. It was produced by a variety of licensed manufacturers in Germany, Poland, and the United States. The weapon was primarily used by police, but it did enjoy some military sales, most notably in Portugal. The weapon is still seen on the streets in UCAS cities and with some European gangs. Rumors occasionally circulate that a Chinese manufacturer has revived the line, but these have never been offered through mainstream suppliers. As a result of the rumored knock-off production, and the fact that many copies were damaged and rebuilt with substandard parts during the EuroWars, there is little collector interest in this weapon.

Standard Upgrades/Accessories: Vintage

ACC = 6; Damage = 6P; AP = N/A; Mode = SA; RC = N/A; Ammo = 12 (clip)
Availability = 4R; Cost = 350¥
